Hello friends!! ,
I think is not a secret that I 'm getting married on 26 of July of this month.
I would like to announce to all of you that my friends are organizing a
great party and of course you are welcome to come. It seems to be really
good as the party is going to be on the open air . Party starts at 4.30 p.m.
in Granxa do Sexto´s Bar (Pedroso Forest in Santiago de Compostela).
There is going to be live music with David Prieto, his guests and a
Dj Session with Dj Pajaro. I hope see you there!!

I´m living in Tarifa until July.
I´m so happy living here. Tarifa is a great
place in winter too, it´s so quiet and healty.
I can work in my projects very relaxed.
Next week I´m going to Santiago for to enjoy the Christmas
with my family and friends.

I leave New York today. I´m going to London tonight.
I will stay a pair of days visiting my friend Julio.
This trip to U.S.A. has been wonderful. I have known much people
and discovered a pile of new things.
Next Friday I arrive at my native city: Santiago de Compostela
for to visit my family.
On Sunday I am transferred to my new but old place of residence: Tarifa.
I hope show you my new photographic project soon.

My plans to return to Barcelona have changed.
finally I have decided to live in Tarifa this winter.
I feel that I must take the things as happend.
I have programmed a trip with kasia in September:
we will go to Galicia from Tarifa by car. We will be one week
there more or less and soon we will undertake the way to Poland,
visiting different cities like Niza, Monaco, Strasbourg
(for to visit Michelle & Fabian), Brujas, Munich
(for to visit Chris & Jessica), Berlin, Amsterdam and Warsaw.
We was in Krakow for a few days.
After the trip I return to Barcelona to visit my friends
and from there I will fly to New York. I will be there
for a month to visit my cousin who lives in Queen's.
Finally I will explore the "great apple" and perhaps
I´ll fly to California for to visit my friend Julie Nedelec.
After my stay in New York I will return to Tarifa to continue
with my work. I hope to obtain a good photographic material
in the United States. I believe that it is my first step
towards my American adventure...

I have finished the magazine "I+C".
Now, I´m designing the site of my own studio. "Marcos Varela Studio".
I bought "Bonito" today in Mercat del Centre (Hospitalet), so Marmitako*
for supper tonight:
Ingredients for 4 people
800 gr. clean bonito (without skin and thorns
and cuted in buckets)
1 kg of potatoes
2 small tomatos bare and
slipped of water and seeds
3 green peppers cut in "juliana" (steaks)
2 "Pimientos choriceros" (peppers)
3 perforated onions
5 dl of dry white wine
1 liter of water
salt, pepper, olive oil
PREPARATION:
1. To soak in fresh water the choriceros peppers. Escaldar them in
boiling water, to retire the pulp and to reserve them to them.
2, Rehogar the onions in a little olive oil, until they are cooked.
Later to add the green peppers in Julian. Coked until them
begin to gild itself.
To add potatoes in medium pieces, the white wine and
a little water tempered
until covering potatoes. Salt´n´paper!
To add water, according to it is evaporated and
we remove once in a while.
When almost the potatoes are already cooked, we added
the tomato done jam and the pulp of the choricero pepper.
To let cook a few minutes.
3. To add "Bonito" and to leave 5 minutes more until it is done.
Consider that the "Bonito" is made immediately.
4. To serve lukewarm and if it is desired, to dust with a little
perforated parsley.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday when I tried iceskating.
I remembered when I learned to cycle. I felt many times,
but finally I did it!!.
I was having supper with my coworkers in a beautiful restaurant
called "Noise i art" located in Gracia town (BCN).
Then we were in a bar called "El otro" and wasted the night
in a "Almo2Bar". Wonderful night!!

Today is San Jordi's Day, an important day in Catalonya.
Boys give roses to their girlfriends and girls give books
to their boyfriends...I prefer not to wait until the 23 of April to give

These days I´m making a project for "Consello da Cultura Galega"
called "I+C - Oportunidades e desafíos para a cultura galega
en Internet"
Last Friday I met Manuel Gago. He is CDCG director. His blog is
the most visited one by galician people. You can read interesting things

I´ve visited his blog yet and I´ve discovered an ineteresting

I´m making the web site of LEDESMA PRODUCIONS and several
portfolios of their projects.
Last week I watched "Little MIss Sunshine" directed by Jonathan
Dayton y Valerie Faris.
"Little Miss Sunshine" is a road movie comedy on an American
family who breaks any mold. The film presents/displays more to
one of the broken families of the recent history of the cinema:
the Hoover, whose trip to an aid of preadolescent beauty not only
causes a humorous chaos, but death and transformation, also
throwing a stirring look to the surprising ones you compensate
of being a loser within a culture obsessed with the victory.
Last Tuesday I met with Carma, Alex, Marta Muela and Ivan
(my coworkers) and Lara as well (the girl who is from "Los Tilos" and
work in same place like me). We were at "La granja de Gavá"
(Rabal Town), a peculiar place where the poets of the city
recite their poems.

Hola, hola!!
I've already come back to Barcelona. I saw my friends
in Tarifa. I showed my favourite places to Javi.
We were watching the sunset in "Arte y Vida" - a fantastic
lounge bar where you can enjoy good music and contemplate
the decline. There I've tried "Campari" for the first time.
A flavourful but bitter Italian drink that has a characteristic
purple colour that obtains thanks to insects called "cochinillas".

On the way to Barcelona we went to Almeria,
we contemplated a beautiful landscape.
Crossing Valencia I observed the enormous skyscrapers
that border the coast of Benidorm.
On wednesday night I met my friend Paco Rocha,
an enthusiastic photographer from Santiago.
He is a photographer of the old school, he loves
experimenting with expired negative and old cameras.
He showed me some interesting photographers like
Robert Smithson.
I was talking with Solenn for a long time by messenger.
She's still living in Buenos Aires and working in the
French embassy.
She´ll stay there until September but she´ll cross Pampas
and some places of Bolivia before returning to Rennes.
Finally I have decided to investigate in the discography
of Jorge Drexler. I love the texts of his songs. He is a poet.
I´ve listened to albums "Eco" and "La edad del cielo".

I went to "Nou Camp" to see Barça-Depor on Saturday.
Depor lost 2-1. I prefer to wach soccer on TV.
I went to Sitges yesterday. I ate in a chinese restaurant
there: "Palacio the Oriente". You can have a meal (free bufet)
for 8,50€ only.
Last week I made the new T-Shirt for "A Medusa".
One of my photos was published in "La Vanguardia" for an monographic
of rehabilitation of buildings last Tuesday.
I have known that a friend of Santiago (Lara) worked

I´m working for BPMO already for four weeks. I´ve designed
3 magazines in this time: TMB Gestió, Trayectos and Datamarketing.
I've made a monographic for La Vangusrdia as well.
I´m so happy in my job.
In my personal work I´m designing several photographic albums
like: Budapest, Venice, some cities of Poland and Stockholm.
I discovered a new photographer: Jordi Benardó
Lleida (Catalunya-SPAIN), 1964
Jordi Bernadó is interested in the photography like
a way to think the city, the architecture and urbanism
and also the own photographic discipline as knowledge form.
In this line of investigation it receives orders to photograph
cities and territoriesworldwide.
Jordi Bernadó has been professor of different universities
from architecture and schools design from 1995 to the present time.
Its work is in the collection of the Foundation the Caixa,
Collecció Testimoni, National Library of France, Foundation
Bank of Sabadell, GIP Japan, Prefactura de Nagoya (Japan),
City council of Lleida, School of Architects of Catalunya (COAC)
and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Museum Civico Riva de Garda,
among others.

Last Saturday (10 March)...I met with Jesus
(one of my best nd older friends) He lives
in Barcelona since 2004...Edu Caamaño, another
great friend was here too. We went out every night...
Jesus, Edu, Cris, Iván, Sandra, Leis...and me...We enjoyed a lot.
My cousin Antonio came to visit me.
He arrived to Barcelona last wednesday.
We waste all the time cooking...mmm...mmm...

Salvador Dalí lived there during some time.

Many things have happened last weeks!!!
I´ve a good new: I´m a new worker of BPMO Edigrup!

Javi came to visit me last weekend and Kasia arrived
last saturday as well.
We enjoyed a lot.
Javi and me went to Santa Maria restaurant to celebrate
our meeting after one year and half. We ate shushi, maki,
burritos, mojama and other flavorful meals. We drank a
gallician wine called "Godello"...is my favourite one.
Then we went out. We met Gemma and Sofía.
Then we founded Ali and Nuria.
We was in "La Fiana" in Born zone. We finished the story
in Kentucky, an after hour in Rabal Town.
I slept im Alicia´s house. I had to go to the airport
to pick up Kasia.
At night Kasia, Sofía, Javi and me made a supper....ostras,
mushrooms with grelos and prawns...and chicken with polish
sausage indide. Delicious!!!
Last tuesday I went to the cinema, I watched "Free Zone"
Two women embark on a road trip after they are brought
together by circumstance. Rebecca (Natalie Portman) flees
her hotel after a fight with her mother-in-law (Carmen Maura)
and hails a taxi driven by Hanna (Hanna Lazlo).

PAY ATTENTION!:
CURRY MATAR PANEER
(Curry with goat cheese and peas)
INGREDIENTS:
Garlic
Ginger
Mustard seeds (Black in colour)
Onions
Tomato pure
Cumin seeds
Olive oil
Black and red powder
Green pepper
Tomatoes
Peas
Fresh goat cheese
Salt
INDIAN SPECIES:
Turmeric Powder
Garam Musala
Cumin powder
and a strong stomach...hahaha!
PREPARATION:
Cook olive oil, chopped onion and cumin seed in pot.
5 minuts later add all indian spacies: Turmeric Powder
Garam Musala, Cumin powder and red and black pepper.
You add pure tomato and then put the rest of ingredients:
peas, chopped cheese, chopped tomatoes and green pepper.
10-15 minuts cooking and...bua lah!.
You can decorate with ment leaves and dry fruits.
ENJOY YOUR MEAL!!!
SOMETHING TO DINK:
MANGO COCKTAIL:
Mango pulp
Natural yogurt
Milk
PREPARATION
Mix in a jar with beater.That´s all!.

I was in Llavaneras visiting Alicia´s sister and her son Alejandro.
I was having lunch in a italian restaurant.
I liked trip by train arround the coast to go there!.
